    Releasing a project

Releasing a project on Splice isn’t the same as putting it out there as a finished project. It’s the way you collaborate with artists in the Splice community.

Maybe you need some vocals to round out a track. Or you want someone to remix your rhythms. Release your work to the community and see what people do with it.

How to collaborate with the Splice community:

    1.  All of your Studio projects are private by default. To release your work to the community, click Release This Version on the bottom right of the project’s page.

    2. Include an audio preview and a description to let the community know your intentions. (“This needs bass.” “Remix me.”) Add a primary and sub-genre tag to gain visibility.

    3. We’ll let you know every time another producer splices you, and again if they share an updated version of your song.
