What is the Splice folder and where do I find it?

Your Splice folder is a special folder that the Splice app creates on your computer for you to store your DAW projects, and any samples downloaded from Splice Sounds. Any project in your Splice folder will be automatically backed up and accessible on the Splice website.

  • The folder's path is "Hard Drive/Users/[your username]/Splice" on a Mac, and "C://users/[your username]/my documents/Splice" on a PC.
  • A shortcut is in your Finder's (or Explorer's) favorites sidebar
  • You can also access the folder from the Splice app - click the gear icon, then click "open Splice folder"
