What do I do if the app is giving me an error?


Occasionally users see an error when trying to sync projects/download samples with Splice. Because there are so many configurations that we support, we recommend emailing support@splice.com about the issue, and we'll help fix it. Please briefly explain what you were doing when the error occurred, and attach the app's log file. To get the client log:

  1. Click the gear icon on the app
  2. Click "Preferences"
  3. Click "Download Logs"
  4. A file named SpliceOSXClientLogs.zip or WindowsClientLogs.zip will be created on your desktop - please attach this file to your email
