Backing up Logic Pro X projects with Splice is similar to other DAWs, with a few key differences worth noting:
- If a project is currently open in Logic, and you open that same project from Splice using the 'Open' button, then Logic won't re-open the project. You'll need to close the current project before re-opening.
- For backup to work correctly, Logic Pro X files must be saved as package files, not as folders. This is the default setting, so don't worry unless you changed it previously.)
- Some features, like Alternatives and certain built in sounds, may not work correctly with project backup. For more information, please read this article.
