How Do I Get Access to the Imported Library?
If you are subscribed to a Sounds 300, 600 or 1000 plan you will get access to our Imported Library feature. You need to be on an active subscription, if you cancel your subscription you will have access to your imported samples until the end of the billing cycle. When you choose to resubscribe you won't have to rescan your imported samples.
How Many Samples Can I Add?
You can currently add up to 50,000 samples to your Imported Library, these samples all need to be within one folder as you can only import one folder at this time.
What Types of Files Can I Add?
You can import .wav , .wave , .aif , .aiff and .mp3 files.
Are these samples being backed up/ stored in the cloud?
No, not at this time. The imported samples are not uploaded to Splice...they will remain only on your local machine.
How Can I Change the Imported Library Folder?
If you need to change the location of the Imported Library folder you can visit your preferences and navigate to the "Import Library Folder" section:
How Can I Add More Samples to my Imported Library?
To add more samples simply move them within your Imported Library folder then visit the Splice app preferences and select "Rescan Folder".
