If you are currently using macOS 10.11 - 10.14, please note that the final version of the Splice Desktop App that will run on these operating systems will be v5.1.9.

After the release of v5.1.9, the Splice Desktop App will no longer automatically update on macOS 10.11 - 10.14. This means that your experience with the app should remain unchanged.

However, in order to continue receiving new updates and features for the Splice Desktop App, it is important to update your operating system to macOS 10.15 or higher. This will ensure that you have access to all the latest improvements and additions to the app.

Please note that Splice can only guarantee compatibility and full functionality for macOS 10.15 or higher. While the app may still work on older operating systems, we cannot guarantee that all features will be available or that the app will function properly.

We understand that updating your operating system may not always be possible, but we highly recommend doing so in order to have the best experience with the Splice Desktop App.
