Technical Requirements:
In order to install Splice INSTRUMENT, your device will need to meet the following requirements:
An active Internet connection
OS: macOS 11 or higher, Windows 10 or higher
Installation:
To install Splice INSTRUMENT, grab the installer from here or within the Splice Desktop app.
We recommend leaving the installer settings at their defaults, as this is the most likely to ensure that your DAW doesn't have any issues detecting the plugin files.
For an overview of the installer process for your platform, see below:

First you’ll see the welcome screen where you can check the version number that you’re installing.
Then you’ll agree to the License Agreement.
At this point you should ensure that your DAW is closed before continuing. If your DAW is left open it can cause the installer to fail, or cause the plugin to fail to appear in your DAW.
Here you can select the plugin formats that you wish to install. We recommend installing all formats, but you can remove the AAX format if you do not use Pro Tools.
We recommend leaving the plugin directories at their defaults.
Please note that the VST3 folder is a system wide standard set by Steinberg, it is highly recommended that you do not install VST3 files in an alternative location.
This page contains one last overview of what will be installed onto your system.
Once the install process is complete you will see this success page and you’re ready to start using INSTRUMENT.
