Organizing Presets in Desktop v5.2.1

With the latest update to Desktop v5.2.1, we have made some changes to how presets are organized. We understand that having a large number of presets can make it difficult to find the ones you need, so we have implemented a new system to make things easier for you.

Previously, all of your presets were stored in a single Splice folder. This could make it challenging to find specific presets, especially if you had a lot of them. With the new update, presets are now separated by pack, making it much easier to locate the ones you need.

We believe that this new organization system will greatly improve your experience with Desktop. However, we understand that there may be some issues that arise during the transition. If you encounter any errors with Serum not recognizing your new preset path, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Serum and click on the "Preset" button in the top right corner.

  2. Select the drop-down icon on the right.

  3. Click on the "Rescan database" button.

  4. Additionally, please click on "Prune Duplicates and Missing Presets."

  5. Serum will now rescan the folders and your presets should be recognized.

If you continue to experience any issues, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.

We hope that this new organization system will make it easier for you to find and use your presets. Thank you for choosing Desktop!
