Preset Compatibility
Serum 1 presets are fully compatible with Serum 2 β Your Serum 1 presets will automatically appear in Serum 2βs preset browser.
Serum 2 presets cannot be loaded in Serum 1 β If you create or modify presets in Serum 2, they will not be backward compatible with Serum 1.
Preset Ratings and Transfer
If you have applied ratings to Serum 1 presets within Serum 1, these ratings will automatically transfer over to Serum 2 the first time you launch Serum 2.
Wavetables and Noise Files
Serum 2 includes all Serum 1 wavetables and noise files.
If you no longer need to use Serum 1, you can move your Serum 1 presets to the Serum 2 preset folder and remove the Serum 1 preset folder to streamline your workspace.
