2. Open the Spitfire Audio App
Go to the Settings tab.
On the lefthand side, select Troubleshooting.
Once there, click Show file next to "Show properties file."
3. Edit the Properties File

]
under thesamples
section, insert the following (with your actual serial key):,
"serial": "YOUR-SERIAL-KEY-HERE"⚠️ Make sure to include the comma at the beginning of the line, then indent.
Reminder: You can find your serial key here: splice.com/plugins/your-plugins
It should look like this (the highlighted section is what you will need to add to the file):
After you enter the key, make sure you save the text file.
4. Launch the Plugin
Reopen your DAW and launch the plugin.
If successful, your plugin should now be fully activated.
Troubleshooting
Error #1: Likely means the serial line wasn’t formatted correctly. Double-check the punctuation and placement.
Error #10: Usually indicates the serial key was entered incorrectly. Try copying and pasting it again from your Splice plugin page.
Important Note
If you use the Repair function in the Spitfire Audio app after activating the plugin, it will erase your serial key. You’ll need to repeat the activation steps above to restore your license.
