How do I pay for Splice in Euros?

Note: We are currently in the process of introducing Euro (€) payments to all EU customers on a rolling basis. This functionality is NOT yet available for all EU customers-- if you do not see the Euro payment option at checkout, it will be enabled for your account soon.

Q: How do I pay for my Splice plan in Euros?

A: For Splice users based in the EU, the option to pay in Euros (€) instead of USD is available in the checkout flow:

Q: Are there any additional processing/conversion fees if I opt to pay in Euros?

A: Processing/conversion fees are built in to the subscription price, so no additional fees will be added on top of the base plan price. Please note that your monthly subscription price may still include VAT, depending on your country of residence. Please see this support article for more info on VAT.

Q: Can I switch to paying in Euros if I already have an existing subscription being charged in USD?

A: No, not at this time. You would need to cancel your existing subscription and then re-subscribe, at which point the Euro option will be available during the checkout process for the new plan.

Q: Why is the Euro price slightly more than the current USD price converted into Euros?

A: Splice is a US-based company, so Euro prices may be slightly higher than the direct $/€ exchange rate, to account for conversion fees (which are handled directly by Splice) and exchange rate fluctuations.

Q: I'm in an EU country, why don't I see the option to pay in Euros?

A: We're currently in the process of releasing this functionality to all EU-based Splice users on a rolling basis. For now it is only enabled for a portion of EU-based users, but it will be available for 100% of users in the very near future.
