How do I pause my plan?
Updated this week

To pause your Splice subscription, visit the plans page and select the "cancel" button for your subscription:

After selecting a reason for cancelling, you'll be presented with the option to pause your subscription. Click "Pause subscription," and then select a 1 or 2-month duration for your pause.

Once you've scheduled a pause, your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and your pause will then begin on your next renewal date. Keep in mind that you will not be able to redeem credits, download samples, use our native plugins (Bridge/Astra/Beatmaker), or otherwise utilize the platform during a subscription hold. This option is essentially a temporary cancellation, intended for users who wish to take a 1-2 month break from Splice without forfeiting their credits.

Your subscription will automatically renew once your pause ends, at which point you'll regain access to the platform, and can continue using your existing credits.

If you are looking to pause a Rent-to-Own subscription, please note, we don't currently provide a subscription hold option for Rent-to-Own plans, but you won't lose any progress by canceling. If you sign up again in the future, your payment progress will pick up where it left off.

You can manage and view your Rent-to-Own subscription here: splice.com/profile/plans
