When you download your first Sound from Splice, a folder will automatically get created in one of these locations, depending on which OS you're running:
MacOS: Macintosh HD/Users/[your username]/Splice
Windows: C:\Documents\Splice
If you delete the sounds on your local device, or get a new device, you may need to re-download (AKA sync) the sounds you previously licensed. Here are the ways you can do this:
1. Sync individual sounds
If you have a single sound you need to sync, you can do so by clicking the cloud icon next to the sample in the Desktop App like so:
2. Multi-select sounds to sync
To sync multiple sounds at once, please select the first sound, then using the check boxes, select the others you wish to sync. You can do this one by one, or hold the Shift key to select multiple at once like so:
3. Sync all your sounds at once
If you need to re-download all of your sounds at once, please first open the Desktop App, click on the avatar icon in the upper righthand corner, and select "Preferences."
Please scroll down and select "Download All Licensed Sounds" under Sample Preferences.
After clicking "Download All Licensed Sounds," you will automatically return to your Sounds library. For any samples or presets that were not already synced, you will see the icon on the righthand side go from a cloud icon to a check mark.
Please note, if you have a large library of un-synced sounds and presets, this may take some time. It is best to leave your computer alone and let your files sync.
