Splice offers a wide variety of sample packs that include samples, presets, MIDI files, and more.

What are Pack Extras?

Pack Extras are additional assets that are included in some of our sample packs. These can include MIDI files, instruments, and other types of content that can enhance your music-making experience. These extras are currently only accessible on the Splice.com website.

How to Access Pack Extras

When browsing our sample packs, you will see Pack Extras listed like this:

Are Pack Extras included if I select "Get Pack"?

When you select "Get Pack," you will have the option to download all of the samples and/or presets.

However, Pack Extras are not included in this download and will need to be downloaded separately.

Downloading MIDI Files

If the pack includes MIDI files, you can download them by following this guide: What are MIDI files? How do I use them in my music?

Other Pack Extras

For other types of Pack Extras, you will also see the Format and Type listed. To download these extras, simply click the + icon and the necessary credits will be displayed.

These often include Ableton Simpler Instruments, Ableton Live Drum Rack presets, Logic Samplers, Kontakt presets, and more.
