Downloading via the Splice desktop app
Depending on your OS, your Splice folder will be located in one of these locations:
MacOS: Macintosh HD/Users/[your username]/Splice
Windows: C:\Documents\Splice
When you add a new sample/preset to your library while the Splice desktop app is running, it will automatically download locally to your Splice folder.
If the Splice desktop application is not running on your computer when you add a new sample/preset to your library on the Splice website, you will need to sync it locally the next time you open the Splice app.
You can do this by clicking the cloud icon on the righthand side of the sound:
Note: If you need to sync multiple samples locally, you can use the "Sync All" button in the preferences section of the desktop app. This will initiate a one-time sync of all of the samples that are in your Splice library, but are not locally downloaded to your computer.
Downloading via the Splice website
Content downloaded from the Splice website will download directly to your downloads folder.
We recommend using the Splice app to download samples/presets whenever possible.
To download through your browser: add a sample/preset to your library using the + button, and then hit the download icon.
DAW Integrations
Samples you download through a Splice DAW integration are added to your Splice library and sync to the Desktop App, website, and mobile app.
