How to fix “There’s an issue with the Splice Sounds Listener”

If you see “There’s an issue with the Splice Sounds Listener”, the Splice Sounds plugin cannot connect to the Splice Sounds Listener in your DAW.

Before troubleshooting, confirm that you have the latest version of the Splice Sounds plugin installed and that both Splice Sounds and Splice Sounds Listener are loaded in your project.

macOS

  1. Quit your DAW.

If your DAW is not listed under Local Network, reopen it and load both Splice Sounds and Splice Sounds Listener. Click Allow if macOS displays a Local Network prompt.

If your DAW is not listed in Firewall Options, click +, select it from your Applications folder, and allow incoming connections.
