Splice

If you're unable to drag samples from the Splice integration into Ableton Live, this is usually caused by permissions preventing Ableton from accessing your User Library.

Follow the steps below for your operating system.

By default, the User Library is located at:

<code>~/Music/Ableton/User Library</code>

Paste the path above and press Return.

1. Open Finder.
2. Click Go &gt; Go to Folder.
3. Paste the path above and press Return.

If you've changed your User Library location, check Ableton Live &gt; Settings/Preferences &gt; Library &gt; Location of User Library.

Open System Settings &gt; Privacy &amp; Security &gt; Full Disk Access.

Make sure Ableton Live is enabled.

If it isn't listed, click + and add it.

Right-click the User Library folder and select Get Info.

Under Sharing &amp; Permissions, make sure your user account is set to Read &amp; Write.

Check the Ableton folder one level above and make sure it also has Read &amp; Write access.

Restart Ableton Live and try dragging the sample again.

Paste this path into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter.

Right-click User Library and select Properties &gt; Security.

Make sure Read and Write are allowed.

3. Make sure Run this program as an administrator is not checked.
