What are Rheo units?
Each time you use one of Create's AI features, such as asking Rheo to make a change, Create uses some of your Rheo units. The number of units a request uses depends on how complex the request is, so there's no fixed number of requests you get per unit.
Rheo units from your free grant and from any packs you buy never expire.
Which requests use more Rheo units?
Bigger requests that ask Rheo to generate new material or analyze a lot of your project use more units. For example:
Generating MIDI parts, like a bass line or a drum pattern.
Big-picture questions about your whole song, like "How should I mix my song?"
Which requests use fewer Rheo units?
Quick, targeted requests that focus on one specific change use fewer units. For example:
"Add a reverb to the vocals."
"Sidechain the bass to the kick."
How far will my Rheo units go?
Every song is different, so how quickly you use units depends on what you're making and how you work with Rheo.
As a general guide, 100 Rheo units is enough to get a good feel for what Rheo can do and to create a complete song with Rheo helping and guiding you along the way.
Check how many Rheo units you have left
Go to Settings → Usage in Create. The Rheo units section shows how many units you have left from your free grant and any packs you've bought. You can also ask Rheo "How many units do I have left?"
Note: When you run out of Rheo units, the Rheo chat and Create's AI features stop working until you get more units.
