What should I do if my payment is being declined?

If you are attempting to pay for a subscription, you might receive a payment error message seen in the image below.

Unable to validate payment method. Check with your bank and try again

This payment error message means your payment method has been declined by your bank or card issuer. You need to contact your bank or card issuer for more information to unblock the card. If your payment method is linked to PayPal, please reach out to your bank or card issuer before contacting PayPal.

After you've contacted your bank, try subscribing once more. If you have a declined payment for a recurring subscription, you can update your payment method to reinitiate a payment attempt via the Splice Billing Page.
