How do I download a Splice sample in Studio One Pro 7?

Once you've found a Splice sample you'd like to use in Studio One Pro 7, simply click on the sample, hold down your mouse, then drag and drop the sample from the Splice interface into an audio track like so:

This will automatically license the sample and add it to your Splice library. You can access your Splice library in the Splice Desktop App, mobile app, and website: https://splice.com/sounds/your-sounds/samples

Where do my Splice samples download to?

When you download your first Sound from Splice, a folder will automatically get created in one of these locations, depending on which OS you're running:

  • MacOS: Macintosh HD/Users/[your username]/Splice

  • Windows: C:\Documents\Splice

Can I drag and drop Splice samples from the Splice Desktop App into Studio One Pro 7?

Does licensing samples in Studio One Pro 7 cost credits?

For users on the Splice x Studio One plan, dragging and dropping samples from the Splice Studio One integration does not cost credits. Studio One Pro 7 users on our core Splice plans β€” Sounds+, Creator, and Creator+ β€” will have access to this feature as well, though Sounds+ users will only have access for a limited time.
