How do I download a Splice sample in Pro Tools?
Once you've found a Splice sample you'd like to use in Pro Tools, simply click on the sample, hold down your mouse, then drag and drop the sample from the Splice interface into an audio track.
This will automatically license the sample and add it to your Splice library.
Where do my Splice samples download to?
When you download your first Sound from Splice, a folder will automatically get created in one of these locations, depending on which OS you're running:
MacOS: Macintosh HD/Users/[your username]/Splice
Windows: C:\Documents\Splice

Can I drag and drop Splice samples from the Splice Desktop App into Pro Tools?
Yes β any sample you license through Splice can be dragged and dropped from the Splice Desktop App into Pro Tools.
If I download a sample on the Splice website or mobile app, will it show up in Pro Tools?
Yes β any Splice sample you download outside of the DAW will be in your library, which you can access directly inside the Splice Pro Tools integration. Additionally, any sample you download in Pro Tools will show up in your library in the Splice Desktop App, website, and mobile app.
