Can I download presets or MIDI files in Pro Tools?
Unfortunately, you can only download samples in the Splice Pro Tools integration. For presets, MIDI files, or other pack extras, please use the Splice website or Desktop App.
Can I download entire packs in Pro Tools?
While you can license up to 100 sounds per day directly in the DAW, the ability to “Get Pack” is not available in the Splice Pro Tools integration.
If I’m on an older version of Pro Tools, can I use the Splice integration?
Unfortunately, the Splice Pro Tools integration will only work in Pro Tools 2025.6. Older versions of Pro Tools are not supported.
Will this integration be available in other DAWs?
While the Splice integration is currently only available in Pro Tools and Studio One, we are working toward bringing new features to all of our users.
If I’m on the Splice x Pro Tools plan, can I use the Splice Desktop App and other surfaces?
Yes — any sample you license in Pro Tools will be added to your library, which you can access on all Splice surfaces: desktop, web, and mobile
The Splice x Pro Tools plan also comes with 100 intro credits that you can spend on other Splice surfaces to license presets, MIDI files, etc.
You can buy up to 300 credit add-ons per month.
How can I generate a license for the sounds I’ve used in Pro Tools?
You can generate a royalty-free license for any Splice sample you download. To do so, please follow the instructions here.
Is there a limit to the number of samples I can download in Pro Tools?
Pro Tools users on a Splice x Pro Tools plan, Creator plan, or Creator+ plan can license up to 100 sounds per day in the DAW without using credits.
Sounds+ users can license sounds in the DAW, but only using credits.

What happens to my captured audio?
Your sounds are safe with Splice. Uploaded loops are used exclusively to help you find compatible sounds on Splice. We will never use your loops to train AI models or share your loops with other Splice users. See our Terms of Use.
