The Splice Sounds plugin (currently in Beta) works across all DAWs (VST3, AU, AAX), letting you browse and pull in Splice sounds without leaving your DAW—no window‑switching, just a smoother workflow.

Can I download presets and MIDI files in the Splice Sounds plugin?
Right now, the Splice Sounds plugin is only able to support sample browsing and licensing. We're constantly working on evolving our offerings, though, so please stay tuned and share your feedback here.
Can I download entire packs and multiple samples at once in the Splice Sounds plugin?
At this time, samples can only be licensed one by one. To download entire packs or multiple samples at once, you can use the Splice Desktop App or website, then find those samples in your library in the Splice Sounds plugin.
How is this plugin different from Splice’s DAW integrations with Ableton, Pro Tools, and Studio One?
The plugin includes features from our DAW integrations, like Search with Sound, and, during Beta, some users have access to new features like Variations and Describe a Sound.
Who will get access to Variations and Describe a Sound?
Since this is a Beta product, we are slowly rolling out new features to a small portion of users to collect feedback and control quality. If you don't currently have access, stay tuned!
Are the Variations of my licensed Splice sample also royalty-free?
Yes. Variations are royalty-free and covered by the same license as the original sample. You can use them just like any other Splice sample under our Terms of Use.
How do I generate a certified license for Variations?
