When you start a Rent-to-Own plan for Serum, an Xfer Records account is automatically created for you using your Splice email address.
Important: Do not create a new Xfer Records account. Your existing account is already linked to your Serum Rent-to-Own plan, and creating a separate account may cause authorization issues.
How to log in to your Xfer Records account
Since your Xfer Records account was created automatically, you'll need to set a password before signing in.
Go to the Xfer Records login page.
Select Forgot your password?
Enter the email address associated with your Splice account and submit the request.
Check your inbox for a password reset email from Xfer Records. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
Follow the instructions in the email to create your password.
Once you've set your password, you can sign in to Xfer Records using your Splice email address and new password to manage your Serum license.
If you signed up for Splice with Apple's Hide My Email
If you signed up for Splice using Sign in with Apple and selected Hide My Email, your Xfer Records account is associated with your Apple Private Relay email address instead of your personal email address.
To access your account:
Go to your Splice account settings.
Under Email, find your Apple Private Relay address, which looks like
xxxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com.
Copy this address and go to the Xfer Records login page.
Select Forgot your password? and enter your Apple Private Relay email address.
Check your inbox for the password reset email from Xfer Records and follow the instructions to set your password.
Once you've reset your password, you can sign in using your Apple Private Relay email address.
Note: If you're not receiving the password reset email, check that email forwarding is enabled for your Private Relay address. See Apple's Hide My Email support page for instructions.
If you'd prefer to use a different email address going forward, you can update it in your Xfer Records account settings.
